Melvin Zumwalt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Zumwalt (Joplin, Missouri), who passed away on May 14, 1997, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Darson Jr. and Carson Jr.; his parents, Carson and Eleonora; his brothers, Elson Zumwalt and Beauford Zumwalt; his stepdaughter Andrea Grissom; and his daughter-in-law Sharon Rose Zumwalt (Dobbins).
He is survived by: his sons, Jack Zumwalt (Mary) and Bill Zumwalt (Lynne); his stepson Alan Poe (Linda); his grandchildren, Cindee Mulik (Paul), Jim Zumwalt (Tammy), Becki Womble (Rick), Robin Zumwalt, Julie Barker (Mark) and Libby Zumwalt-Grijalva; and also, Melvin, Ann and Carson. He is also survived by great grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, eleven step-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Community Support Services in care of the mortuary.
