He is survived by: his wife Delores Ann Michael (Huber); his children, Bonnie Kay Kelley (Mike) of Joplin, Donald Ray Michael (Teresa) of Joplin and Paul Charles Michael of Joplin; and his siblings, Gary Michael (Linda) of Arizona, John Michael of Arizona, Bruce Michael (Diane) of Arizona and Janet Michael of California. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
