We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2020, at the age of 86, Mary Whetstone of Joplin, Missouri, born in Sabinal, Texas passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Shelton and Ethel Shelton (Henry); her spouse Reverend Louis Russell Whetstone; and her sisters, Veva McDevitt, Barbara Henley, Eunice Spears and Ora Mae Meli.

She is survived by: her children, Analisa Whetstone-Sweeton (Mike) of Joplin, Sheira Snyder of Ozark, Missouri and Paul David Whetstone of Hollywood, California; her grandchildren, Tyrannie Whetstone of Ozark and Tyeler-Anne Whetstone of Missouri; and her great grandchildren, Hailie Green and Lalea Green of Carl Junction, Missouri. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
