Marsha Lynn McCarthy Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marsha Lynn McCarthy of Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on September 25, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy L. Mathews and Grace Lorene Mathews (Owens); her stepfather Gordon Smith; her brother Michael Mathews; and her son Jeff McCarthy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kristin Perry and Heather Gruenewald (Wayne); her grandchildren, Aimee Vaughn (Michael), Joshua Gruenewald (Samantha), Rachel Gruenewald, Ashley Hettinger (Jess), Bobby McCarthy, Aleena McCarthy and Paul McCarthy; her nephew Scott Mathews; and her niece Julie Blanchard. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be given to the Joplin Humane Society in care of.
