With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marlana F. Thornberry of Joplin, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Marlana left this world on August 31, 2024 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles B. Wyrick and Hazel P. Wyrick; her close friend Marvin Granger; her son John Scott May; and her sister Linda Powell.
She is survived by: her daughter LeSena L Williams; her grandson Benjamin Scott Williams; her great grandchild Aiden Ray Scott Williams; and her siblings, Charles Wyrick, John Wyrick, Mickey Sherman, Rose Theimer and Iona Wyrick. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Solace House of the Ozarks in care of the mortuary.
