She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Alderman and Joyce Ann Alderman (Jenkins); and her sister Teresa Hall. She is survived by: her family, Bill, Thanksgiving Dinners and Easter; her husband Bill Shepherd (Joplin); her sons, Bill Shepherd (Sarah) of Arkansas and Scott Shepherd (Kellee) of Joplin; her grandchildren, Spencer Shepherd of Webb City, Hannah Shepherd, Mason Shepherd of Joplin, Brook, Spring and River Shepherd of Arkansas; her niece Jennifer Reed (Mike) of Joplin; her great-niece Gabby Kelso of Joplin; her nephew DJ Smith (Zach) of Joplin; and her siblings, John Alderman, Steve Alderman (Linda), David Alderman (Lisa), Jim Alderman, Cheryl Ward (Eric), Crystal Davis and Colleen Alderman.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made out to the Spring City Baptist Church.
