She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnetta Maryman and Howard Cartright; her son Jon David Irelan; and her siblings, Elaine Allen and Ellis Cartright.
She is survived by: her former husband Ray Wayne Irelan; her husband Otis LeRoy Clark; her daughter Marcia Black (John); her grandchildren, Adam Black (Zackary Graddy) of Joplin, Missouri, Evan Black of Joplin, Missouri, Emme Black of Joplin, Missouri and Elle Black of Joplin, Missouri; and her sister Celia Kunce. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, it was Marilyn's wishes that memorial contributions be made to Villa Heights Christian Church.
