We bid farewell to Margie Akins of Joplin, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 26, 2025 at the age of 76. Margie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie E. Bresee and Bernice M. Bresee (Alexander); her siblings, Bobby Bresee (Marsha) and Donna Bresee; and her granddaughter Samantha Kraft.
She is survived by: her siblings, Willie Bresee (Pat), Norma Enlow (Charles), Irene Smith (Gene), Homer Bresee (Merna) and Teresa Thomas (Ben); her children, Debbie Ornsby (Mike) and John Kraft (Aretha); her grandson Shane Royer (Kay); her great grandchildren, Colton, Owen, Emmett, Lucas and Katie Belk (Austin); her sons, Gabriel and Elijah; her grandchildren, Johnathan Kraft and Andrea Wright; her children, Isabella, Delani, Emma and Will Kraft (Chelsea); and her grandchild Memphis. She is also survived by her kids, grandkids, and many great grandkids.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary (3701 E 7th St, Joplin, MO 64801). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mason-Woodard Chapel (3701 E 7th St, Joplin, MO 64801).
