She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clarence Courtney and Martha Courtney (Knight); her daughter Billie Jean (Jerry Patterson); her son-in-law Ivan Brock; her grandsons, Kevin Patterson (Lisa) of Carthage, Kenneth Patterson (Julie) of Joplin and Keith Patterson of Joplin; her spouse William A. King (Bill); her children, David Ray King and Carol Sue King Haddock; and her sister Margaret Babineaux. She was also cherished by thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
