She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Heffnieder and Mildred Heffnieder; her husband Herman Avey Jr.; her son Randy Reynolds; and her brother Herman Heffnieder.
She is survived by: her children, Phillip Avey (Brenda), William Gartrell, Diana Coe (Cletis), Laurie Ritchy (Terry), Paulette Evy, Pam Caviness and Debra Routledge (Jerry). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.
