It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Sharlee Attwood (Joplin, Missouri), born in Carthage, Missouri, who passed away on July 3, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Lillian Sharlee may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lillian Sharlee touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Shackelford and Julia Shackelford (Seela); her husband Leland Attwood; her son Charles Attwood; and her granddaughter Chloe Hollaway.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Weber (Loren "Doc") of Joplin and Lawrence "Larry" Attwood (Brenda) of Springfield, MO. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
