With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leta Sowersby (Joplin, Missouri), who passed away on December 22, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmer Lawson and Veva Lawson (Drake); her daughter Karla Jones; her granddaughter Misha Roark; and her sister Lois Campbell.
She is survived by: her husband Tim Leroy Sowersby; her children, Tim Sowersby, Krystal Jones (Jim) of Carl Junction and Vicki Roark of Seneca; her sister Lera Dill; and her brother-in-law Jim Campbell. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 16+ great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to Fairview Baptist Church in care of the mortuary.
