With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leta Oyler of Joplin, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 22, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Leta may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Kelley and Viola Kelley (Reese); her brother Billy Dean Kelley; and her son-in-law Buck Farrill. She is survived by: her husband Leonard Oyler; and her children, Vicki Farrill, Mike Oyler (Becky) and Kay Moore (Curtis). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren, 3 great-great- grandchildren; and several surviving cousins.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Parker Mortuary Chapel (1502 S Joplin Ave, Joplin, MO 64804).
