He was predeceased by: his father William Tatum; and his brother James. He is survived by: his mother Eleanor Tatum (Myszke); his wife Jill Thomas (Womack); his children, Shaelyn Davis (Jerry), JeLynn Tatum (William Metzger), Austin Tatum and Keaton Tatum; his grandson Romel; and his siblings, William, Robert, Frank, Allen, Harold, Frances, Lucinda, Mary Ann and Betty. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
His ministry included donated services for the Right Here, Right Now campaign as well as a ministry where he built trust first with low-income families/widows and completed projects at a reduced price and/or for free in the four-state area.
