She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Chapman and Stella Chapman (Ferguson); her children, Richard and Linda; her husband John C Johnson of Omaha; and her grandson Michael.

She is survived by: her siblings, Dale Chapman of Illinois, Howard Chapman of Illinois and Maxine Miller of Arkansas; her son Scott Johnson of Arlington, Texas; her daughter-in-law Caroline Johnson; her grandchildren, Andrew Johnson (Jennafer) of Webb City, Lesli Stump (Eldon) of Webb City and Christie Westhoff (Eric) of Joplin; and her great grandchildren, Brandon of Webb City, Samantha Stump (Fox) of Webb City, Lauren of Webb City, Zachary of Webb City, Anthony Stump of Webb City, Kennedy of Webb City and Brooklyn Johnson of Webb City.
