It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leah Hayes of Joplin, Missouri, born in Pittsburg, Kansas, who passed away on September 5, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her friends, JC and Basketball; her children, Nancy Sapp of Dodge City, Kansas and David Hayes (Carol) of Lufkin, Texas; her grandchildren, Michael Sapp (Heather) of Tampa, Julie Purin (Peter) of Shawnee, Kimberly Griggs (Cory) of Amarillo, Jennifer Krusing (Mike) of Lubbock, Greg Hayes (Melissa) of Plano and Melissa Crager (Brian) of Lufkin, Texas; and also Leah. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; cousins and the many friends.
