He was predeceased by: his parent Lawrence Daniel Murphy; his daughter Michelle R. Murphy; and his sister Sandra Murphy. He is survived by: his parent Virginia Gloria Cordell Murphy; his wife Christine Perreira Murphy; his children, Timothy Lee Murphy of Alaska, LaVena Murphy of Joplin, Michael R. Murphy of Carl Junction and Ileah R. Murphy Adams of Joplin; his grandchildren, Zoe R. Adams, Wyatt Cable, Bentley R. Chadwick-Murphy, Emma Adams and Gracie Cable; his siblings, David Murphy of Joplin and Sharon Mahan of Longview; his niece Samantha Murphy of Joplin; and his nephews, Daniel Murphy of Oklahoma, David Mahan of Oklahoma, James Mahan of Oklahoma and Eugene Daniel Mahan of Oklahoma.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the family to help with final expenses.
