With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence Dean Richardson (Joplin, Missouri), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Dean and Grace Naoma Richardson (Ruble); his wife Kay Thompson; his sister Erdene Gooch; his brother-in-law Lloyd Gooch; his granddaughter Kara Richardson; and his son-in-law Russell Beck.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Vanwinkle (Bob), Kathy Cowley (Rick), Carol Hatfield (Ronnie) and David Richardson (Jeanne); and his grandchildren, Travis Beck (Jamie), Tyler Beck, Taylor Beck (Stetson), Savannah Allen, Trent Cowley, Andrew Jiles (Kayli), Ethan Hatfield, Lucas Hatfield and Klayton Richardson (Michaela).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made out to Byers Avenue United Methodist Church.
