He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gehlken and Dorris Gehlken (Hodge); and his wife Paula Gehlken (Kingley). He is survived by: his children, Robert Gehlken and Annette Barker (Darrin) of Warsaw, MO; and his sister Debra Bradley. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews.
