He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Pauline Baker and William Oscar Herron; and his siblings, Tana Elisabeth Houston and Terry Bill Herron. He is survived by: his children, Timothy Brock Herron (Dianna) of Sulphur Springs and Kimberly Herron Gingrich (Larry) of Overland Park, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Brock Herron (Katie), Ethan Herron (Lauren), Ashley Russell (Matt), Scott Bartoski (Alison), Morgan Shoal, Lindsay Goldsmith (Joey), Benjamin Gingrich (Stacey) and Anna Gingrich; his wife Linda; and his aunt Toby Manker of Binghamton. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Gideons International or Christ's Community Church in Joplin, Missouri, honoring his love for Jesus and others.
