He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Brockel and Leona Happi Brockel. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Riggins Brockel; his children, Tina Schott and Greg Brockel of St. Louis; his grandsons, Dorin and Damon Wiemar of St. Ann, Missouri; and his former wife Dorothy Brockel of St. Ann. He is also survived by several other extended family, and many friends.
