As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Karen Sue may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Edgar Plummer and Lorraine Gladys Plummer (Bowyer). She is survived by: her children, Gene King Jr. (Lisa) of Linden, Texas, Kandy Engert (Ethan) of Lamar, MO., Kristina Whitworth (George) of Farmington and Kari Shaw (Robert) of Wright City, Missouri. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Daniel Funeral Home (1201 Broadway St, Lamar, MO 64759).
