He was predeceased by: his father Barry Cantu; his sister Kelly Denise Grassi; and his grandmother Lee Givens. He is survived by: his mother Mildred Hornbeck (Givens) of Carthage; his children, Kelson, Kooper Cantu of Joplin, Karsen James of Texas and Jocelyn Stephenson of Joplin; his sister Tammy Hale (Todd) of Joplin; and his nieces and nephews, Christopher Stricklin of Joplin, Josh Hale of Webb City, Jake Hale of Carl Junction, Chelsea Staton of Joplin and Ashley Heitschmidt of Miller. He is also survived by 18 great nieces and nephews.
