She was predeceased by: her daughter Jill Nicole Marcum; her sister Janice Leah Carr; and her husband Lee Wilson Marcum, II (Bob Fry). She is survived by: her son Lee Wilson Marcum, III (Laura); her grandchildren, Dr. Jordyn Nicole Karns (Dakota), Lee Wilson Marcum, IV and Jenna Elese Capra of Aurora, CO; her sister Jimmye Dean; her brothers-in-law, Brad Fagan and Bill Carr of Bixby, OK; her nephews, Bret Fagan of North Port, FL and Dr. Blake Fagan (Rachel) of Asheville, NC; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Billy Carr (Joy), Rebecca Fagan, Mary Claire Fagan and Bradley Fagan.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Parker Mortuary (1502 S Joplin Ave, Joplin, MO 64804). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery (415 N St Louis Ave, Joplin, MO 64801).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to any no-kill animal shelter or to Cottey College.
