It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Louise McGuirk of Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on May 20, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Jackson and Olein Rose (Moore); her former husband Ernest Cummins; her brothers, Richard and Jackie Rose; her grandchildren, Tessa McGuirk, Crystal Maness and Billy Burton; and her great great grandchild William Burton III.
She is survived by: her sons, Lee Cummins (Jenny Abernathy) of Joplin and Billy Cummins of Kansas City, Missouri; her stepchildren, Jack McGuirk of Joplin, Wes McGuirk of Bonneville and Misty Ratliff of Galena, Kansas; and her brothers, Bill Rose (Irene) of Carthage and Daniel Rose of Joplin. She is also survived by five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
