It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Le Anne Emery Johnson of Joplin, Missouri, born in Milo, Missouri, who passed away on November 29, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pastor David and Eula Mae Emery; and her husband Dr. R. Elton Johnson, Jr.. She is survived by: her sisters, Sue Foltz and Lois Phillips; and her sons, Elton III, David, Scott and Jonathan. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren.
