He was predeceased by: his grandmother Sondra Whited; and his great-grandparents, Dolores Bull and LLoyd Wingo. He is survived by: his parents, Michael Presley (Sarah Jenness) and Laura Owen; his grandparents, Poppy and Nana Wingo; his girlfriend Kerissa Thomas; his siblings, Hayden Presley (Brynna Cupp), Kaylee Owen and Aubree Owen; his stepsisters, Hope Fortuck and Hayden Cauthon; his aunts, Lyndsey Conness (Jared), Lisa Beckham (Mike), Angie Cline, Ami Howell (Travis) and Theresa Woods (Tom); his cousins, RiLynn Conness, Keagan Conness, Brayson Conness and Braxton Conness; and his close friend Apollo.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made out to the Joplin Humane Society in honor of Joey.
