With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnson Jd of Joplin, Missouri, born in Purdy, Missouri, who passed away on October 18, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Virgil Johnson and Rosie Johnson (Childress); his stepfather Lloyd Clayton; his wife Helen (White); his daughters, Jeanie Brake (Terry), Deborah Thompson and Leigh Ann Replogle (Ralph); and his siblings, Janie, Linda and Jerry. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Cookson Hills Children's Home in care of the mortuary.
