He was predeceased by: his parents, John Burt and Jessie (Sweetland); and his wife Mary Rawlinson. He is survived by: his son Rick Newberry (Toni); his granddaughters, Chelsea Harmon (Derrick) and Carmen Newberry; and his great grandchild Ty Harmon. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers contributions are requested to Bethel Baptist Church or American Legion Post 13 and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
