He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Maurer and Kathryn Maurer; and his siblings, Denise Thomas and Billy. He is survived by: his sisters, Donna Garrigan (Dennis) of Joplin, Diana Maurer of Joplin and Deb Fee (Colleen) of Greeley, Colorado; and his close friend Gary Marison of Berthoud, Colorado. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many loved extended family.
