He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill Knight and Partha Claudia Flannery Knight; his grandson Ricky Tankersley; his siblings, Dave Thurman and Marie Humphrey; and his brother-in-law Ronald Maxwell.
He is survived by: his wife Myrna Ann Knight (Maxwell); his children, Chris Knight (Michele) and April Knight (David) of Carthage; his grandchildren, C. J. Knight of Wentague, Ashley Knight of Carthage, Alexa Knight of Carthage, Victoria Knight of Carthage, Charity Lemus of Carthage, Tyler Tankersley of Benton and Cherisa Charbonneau of Ft. Walton, Florida; his great grandchildren, Kayson Austin of Carthage and Dominic Lemus of Carthage; his siblings, Lonnie Knight (Ruthann) of Baxter Springs, Kansas and Merrilleen Swanson of Jasper, Missouri; and his father-in-law Wayne Maxwell of Carthage. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
