It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Junior Brayfield of Joplin, Missouri, born in Turners, Missouri, who passed away on May 27, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brayfield of Washington and Carrie Emeline Brayfield; his siblings, Quentin, Genevieve, Bill and Betty Lou; and his children-in-law, Scott Thomas and Marti Brayfield.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Brayfield (Lois), Donna Thomas and Sharon Peterson (Bill); his grandchildren, Renee, Charity, Carrie (Rylan), Kyle (Kyndi), Katie, Mary, Emily, Sarah (Chuck) and Shaunate; and his great grandchildren, Brianna, Hunter and Aleena.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Cardinal Glennon Childrens Hospital in memory of John Junior Brayfield, a lifelong Cardinals Baseball fan.
