She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Lathem and Frances Lathem (Owen); her husband Arthur W. DeMint, Sr.; her sister Evelyn Lathem; and her son Arthur Wayne DeMint, Jr..

She is survived by: her sons, Michael DeMint and Brian DeMint (Dena) of Joplin; and her daughter-in-law Kathy DeMint of Joplin. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
