Joann Ethel (Tallent) King Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2025, at the age of 76, Joann Ethel (Tallent) King of Joplin, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph E. Tallent and Charlotte B. Tallent (Ledder); her husband Joe E. King; her daughter Josephine Winkler; her fiancé Bill Brockman; and her siblings, Wayne Tallent, Timothy Tallent, Terry Talent, Lawrence Tallent and Rosie Tallent.
She is survived by: her sister Suzie Tallent; and her children, Joanna Sanders and Al Schultz. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mason-Woodard Chapel (3701 E 7th St, Joplin, MO 64801). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary (3701 E 7th St, Joplin, MO 64801).
