It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Delores Farmer of Joplin, Missouri, born in Atwood, Kansas, who passed away on December 27, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolf Michel and Margaret Michel (Frecks); her husband Richard K. Farmer; and her sisters, Vera Broderick and Janice Meyer.
She is survived by: her sons, Russell F. Farmer and Andrew C. Farmer; and her stepchildren, Richard K. Farmer, Jr., Thomas L. Farmer, Steven P. Farmer and Jean M. Pogue. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, grandnieces and nephews.
