It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Shirley in Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim and Bernice; and also Randy Shirley of Baxter Springs, Kansas.. He is survived by: his wife Linda Shirley of Joplin; his daughter Christine Shirley of Jacksonville, FL; his brother Tony Shirley of Baxter Springs, KS; his uncle Mike; his aunt Susie English of Joplin; his stepfather David Cooke of Joplin; and his pets, Max, Rocky, Elly and Winnie.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Parker Mortuary Chapel - Joplin.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Joplin Humane Society care of Parker Mortuary.
