It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Starkweather (Joplin, Missouri), born in Riverton, Kansas, who passed away on October 1, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl L. Starkweather and Pauline Potter Starkweather; his daughter Cathy Starkweather; his brother Don Starkweather; and his brothers-in-law, Ed Loyd and Larry Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Williams; his sons, Rick Starkweather (Nancy) of Joplin and Jeff Starkweather (Kelli) of Joplin; his grandchildren, Jordan Starkweather (Mitzi) of Joplin, Graham Starkweather of Joplin, Chase Starkweather of Joplin, Josh Barnett (Shelia) of Joplin, Rebecca Barnett of Joplin and Nickolas Barnett of Joplin; and his siblings-in-law, Rowayne Williams (Phyllis) of Tulsa, Patsy Loyd of Joplin and Sandy Williams of Joplin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Fellowship Baptist Church of Joplin, or St. Jude Children's Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee.
