“Jerry was managing Union Pack in Omaha when I met him in the early 1970's. Around then, he bought trucks and went over the road. Jerry and I worked together on his truck purchases since the '80's. He was a real pleasure to work with as both a customer and a friend. It's hard to say how many millions of miles he drove, week after week, year after year, a hard work ethic he passed on to his sons. In the truck world, he's called an original. We'll miss you.
