He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cecil Powers and Thelma Powers (Tunnell); his wife Pam Shipman; his children, Dakota Powers and Chelsey Klamm (Matt); and his siblings, Rick Powers (Patti), Mark Powers (Susan) and Pam Stanley. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
