She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph H. Michael and Jean Fletcher Smith of Galena; and her siblings, Danny Michael and Bernice J. Winter. She is survived by: her brother Joe D. Michael of Joplin. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Joplin Humane Society.
