With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janette D. Hodson in Joplin, Missouri, born in Brookfield, Missouri, who passed away on January 4, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Lee and Mary E. Shouse (Bailey); her husband Marvin "Brownie" Hodson; her children, Delana Shipley, Donald Hodson and Burney Hodson; and her brothers, Frank, Donald and David Shouse.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Terry of Carthage; and her siblings, Billie "Sue" Mieswinkel of Mt. Vernon, MO, Tom Shouse of Joplin, MO and Charles Shouse of Chillicothe, MO. She is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
