Jane Newton Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Newton (Joplin, Missouri), who passed away on November 13, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joy Beck and Hazel Beck; her former husband Larry Kinser; and her husband Bunny Newton. She is survived by: her sons, Brian Newton (Peggy) and Bruce Newton; her grandchildren, Sam Newton (Jess Anne), Lacey Tidwell (Joe), Aubrey Johnson (Kyle), Jessica Jane (Matt) and James Newton; her siblings, Dr. James Beck (Sara) and Joyce Meador (Geary); her nephews, Shannon Meador, Justin Beck and Jarrett Beck; and her close friend Carolyn Bennett. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Downtown Joplin Alliance, in care of Parker Mortuary.
