He was predeceased by: his parents, Dugan Potter and Maxine Potter Barnes (Steele); and his brothers, Emil Potter, Charles Potter and Kenneth Potter.
He is survived by: his children, Shane Potter of Joplin, Shantel Potter of Buffalo and Tommy Foreman of Gentry, AR; and his brother Tommy Potter (Verna) of Bakersfield, CA. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
