He is survived by: his wife Nancy Smith; his children, Steve (Julie) of Rogers and Delisa Gardner (Stan) of Broken Arrow; his grandchildren, Chelsea Dodge (Adrienne) of Joplin and Chase Damer of Bentonville, Arkansas.; and his siblings, Jerry Damer of Webb City and Kay Masters (Jerry) of Lakewood Ranch, Florida..

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Joplin Golf Foundation or the Fellowship Baptist Church Building Fund or Music Ministry in care of the mortuary.
