With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Junior Castagno Jr. of Joplin, Missouri, born in Columbus, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James Junior left this world on September 2, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though James Junior may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James Junior touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his daughters, Carolyn Jean Anderson and Alisha Kay McKenzie; and his brothers, John Castagno, Joe Castagno and Nick Castagno.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Castagno (Snow). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
