He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Grounds and Ima Grounds (Shumate); and his brother Wayne Grounds. He is survived by: his children, Jerry Grounds (Pauline) of Ozark and Lori Moffatt (Sean) of Oklahoma City; his grandchildren, Jazmynn Grounds, Paulina Grounds, Jessica Watt (Moffatt) and Ian Moffatt; his great grandchildren, Adalynn Grounds, Peyton Moffatt, MacKenzie Moffatt, Adalynn Moffatt, Elaina Watt and Ryland Watt; the mother of his children Doris Grounds of Joplin; and his siblings, Shirley, Elsie, Lynda and Edwin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
