He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Harns and Lillie Combs Harns; his wife Kathryn Miller Harns; and his stepdaughter Regan Halsey. He is survived by: his daughter Leasa Harns of Joplin; his stepdaughter Erin Hulsey of Neosho, Missouri; his grandchildren, Donovan Harns and Clorissa Harns; and his siblings, Ronnie Harns (Joanne) of Kirbyville, Missouri, Mary Hazelbaker of Joplin and Helen Bromley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
