He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lemmons and Edith Vanee Lemmons (Bauer); and his sisters, Carol Greenlee and Joyce Mullikin. He is survived by: his wife Treva Lawson Lemmons; his children, Donna Walser (Kirby) of Joplin, Tracy Roberts (J. D.) of Monett, MO and Keith Lemmons (Gay) of Lees Summit, MO; his sister Linda Meyer (Ron) of Joplin; his grandchildren, Dawson Lemmons, Megan Walser and Amy Walser; his stepgrandchildren, Michael Roberts (Aubrey), Nicky Roberts (Lexi) and Lauren Folmer; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Hunter Davis and Lily Roberts.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Joplin Elks Lodge #501 Christmas Basket Program.
