She was predeceased by: her parents, William Woody and Rose Carolyn Woody (Smart); her former husband Carl Smith; her husband Tommy Sweeney; and her daughter Shirley Carter.
She is survived by: her children, HuRay Smith (Myrna), Carolyn Rea, Terry Smith (Rhonda), W. C. Smith, Mary Russell (Jack), Teresa Joslen (Billy), Jimmy Smith (Sherry), Pattie Fletchall (Joe) and Debbie Kile (Mark). She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.
