She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Nicolas Eugene Johnson and Thelma Mae Leigh; her husband Richard L. Skaggs; her children, Rikki Sellinger, Dr. Nicola Opdyke (Wallie Opdyke) of Austin and Dr. Steven Skaggs (Barbara Skaggs) of Joplin; and her grandsons, Jeremy Sellinger of New Mexico, Shane Skaggs of Joplin and Kayle Skaggs of Joplin.
